EpandMedia won two 2008 Pollie Awards given by the American Association of Political Professionals (AAPC) for radio ads the company produced.
EpandMedia received Silver for “Jackpot,” a 2007 radio ad supporting Democrat Donna Edwards successful run against Republican US Representative Al Wynn in Maryland’s 4th Congressional District. Executive produced by KnickerbockerSKD consultant Jennifer Cunningham for client SEIU COPE, “Jackpot” highlighted how Wynn misused his time in Congress for his personal benefit rather than that of his constituents.
EpandMedia also received an Honorable Mention for “Nursing Home,” a radio ad dramatizing the urgency for then Governor Spitzer to cancel disastrous healthcare budget cuts he was threatening to make in New York State. It too was executive produced by KnickerbockerSKD consultant Jennifer Cunningham for the 1199 SEIU and GNYHA Healthcare Education Project.
The American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) is a bipartisan organization of political professionals. Their annual Pollie Awards are a national showcase for excellence in political communications. This year the awards were held in Napa Valley California, March 22-24.
