EpandMedia Produces TV and Radio Ads for Dan Malloy for Governor, Winner of Connecticut Democratic Primary

EpandMedia produced the television ad, “Jobs,” along with several radio ads, for Dan Malloy for Governor of Connecticut. Malloy defeated the well-funded and favored rival businessman Ned Lamont in the August 10 Democratic primary. Lamont had led broadly in the polls but watched his lead collapse after a series of effective advertisements from the Malloy camp closed the gap and finally overcame Lamont. The ad team was led by consultant Josh Isay of KnickerbockerSKD.

“Jobs” focused on Malloy’s success at job creation while he was mayor of Stamford. Malloy’s experience creating jobs proved most appealing to Connecticut voters struggling with a protracted recession.

EpandMedia’s Len Epand directed the man-on-the-street interviews which formed the body of the ad.
