EpandMedia won a 2012 Pollie Award from the American Association of Political Consultants (AAPC) for a radio ad the company produced for agency SKDKnickerbocker.

EpandMedia received the Silver for “Kid,” a radio ad produced to air around the time of the Bloomberg-TV Republican primary debate in the fall of 2011. Paid for by the Peter G Peterson Foundation, “Kid” was one of a series of similar television ads that played throughout the course of the debate. The goal was to raise awareness of the growing national debt crisis. The ads presented a series of children acting as teachers explaining to the adult audience the critical urgency of cutting the national debt, particularly how it will impact today’s children when they’re adults. The ads received much free media coverage and increased the understanding and importance of the topic during the national debate. The ads kept this critical topic front and center during this contentious Presidential campaign season.
